Tips

  • The SPOT HUG Ultimo needs a clear view of the sky (unobstructed) to obtain a GPS signal
    and provide the most accurate location information. It is not reliable indoors or in a cave.
  • Keep key FOB with you when operating your boat
  • If the boat moves more than 500 meters without the user's authority and the key FOB is not present,
    unauthorized movement is detected and an alert is sent to a third party Asset Monitoring Center.
  • Keypad and Key FOB are wireless. The Tracker communicates with the keypad and the FOB wireless using a proprietary protocol in the 2.4 GHz frequency band with a range of 60 feet radius in clear line of sight. The keypad and the FOBs need tobe paired with the Tracker before they can communicate with the Tracker.
